Does anyone know anything about suspension kits???

Recently I’ve purchased a 97′ Eclipse GS and I want to put a Tein Suspension Kit on it (TEIN DAMPER COILOVER BASIC SUSPENSION KIT). So the guy I’m buying it from says he has all of the parts to the kit except for the upper mount. He said that I can still put the kit on with out it, but I don’t fully trust his word. So does anyone know if that is possible or will I have to buy an upper mount also.
I’m about 99.9% sure that guy is right. Only because the Tein Basic coilovers and the Tein Super Street does not come with the upper mounts to begin with. You would have to get the Tein Flex or the Tein Super Racing set to have it include the upper mount.
